Board Meeting Recap – December 15, 2024
The Miracle Workers Alliance (MWA) held its regular Board of Directors meeting on December 15, 2024, via the Discord eBoard Room. The meeting was called to order by President Korey G. Miracle at 6:00 p.m. EST, with a quorum present.

Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes
The minutes of the September 24, 2024, meeting were reviewed and approved unanimously. The motion was made by Jordan Anderson, seconded by Samantha Boyce.

The meeting agenda was motioned for approval as presented by Samantha Boyce, seconded by Jordan Anderson, and approved unanimously.
Reports
Executive Report
President Korey G. Miracle provided updates on various initiatives:

Continue to wait for 501(c)(3) status approval.

Made progress on building the FiveM server but are awaiting funding for 24/7 hosting.
- Implementation of timesheets for volunteers using secure, protected links.
- Created financial supporter roles and channels on Discord.
- Receipt of $241 worth of scripts for the GTA FiveM server via an anonymous donation.
- Affiliate status achieved on the official Twitch channel as of December 14, 2024, with plans to implement additional features.
- Working to host a Bedrock Minecraft server, with discussions with an ISP to finalize details.
New Business
Item 1: Board Vacancy
- Presenter: Korey Miracle
- Discussion: TGWB40 (Michael Dilley) was nominated to fill the board vacancy. Michael brings nine years of leadership experience in the Army and professional experience at Goodyear.
- Motion: Motioned by Jordan Anderson, seconded by Subreina Davis.
- Vote: Approved unanimously.
Item 2: End of Year Reflections
- Presenter: Korey Miracle
- Discussion: Reflections included:

Filing for incorporation status and obtaining an EIN.
- Raising $600 to file for 501(c)(3) status.
- Highlights from various board members, including social media efforts, committee creation, and promotion of streaming platforms.
Item 3: Challenges Faced This Year
- Presenter: Korey Miracle
- Discussion:

Potential loss of TikTok as a platform, which has a significant following.
- Issues with trolls on the Discord server, with plans to boost server controls.
- Struggles raising initial funding for server hosting for our Gamers for Wellness program. Confident that after our 501(c)(3), we can start to acquire funding and build trust with donors/stakeholders.
Item 4: Secret Santa 2024
- Presenter: Korey Miracle
- Discussion: A Secret Santa event with a $25 limit was proposed. Details will be posted on Discord for interested participants, with further plans to be finalized in January.

- Discussion: A board activities day in January was proposed to welcome Michael Dilley as the new board member.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:03 p.m. EST following a motion by Samantha Boyce, seconded by Hailey Medina, and approved unanimously.
